A man was arrested from the national capital on Tuesday for being part of a scuffle, that left 1 person dead and other severly injured, Delhi police said.

One injured is admitted at All India Institutes of Medical Sciences with a head injury while the other with two bullet injuries was been taken to Max Hospital in Saket where he was later decalred dead, Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said.

Terming it as a gang war, the officer said that the scuffle started between two groups around 6.30 p.m. following an argument in the afternoon in Ambedkar Nagar of south Delhi.

“The arrested person is being interrogated and raids are in process to arrest others,” Baaniya said.

The DCP said a case has been registered and both the injured had a history of involvement in crime.
