Former Union Minister and BJP leader Sanwar Lal Jat passed away on Wedenesday morning at AIMS hospital in Delhi.
The 62 year old member of Parliament from Ajmer was undergoing treatment in the Delhi hospital after falling unconscious during a party meeting held in Jaipur.
Jat breathed his last in Delhi on Wedenedasy. He has previously served as a Water Resource Minister in PM Narendra Modi’s cabinet.

He also served as the chairman of Rajasthan Farmers Commission, and as a minister in the Rajasthan Cabinet. Jat was thrice elected as an MLA from Bhinai electorate.
Sanwar Lal Jat was born on 1 January 1955. He did his initial schooling from a local school and later served as a teacher in Rajasthan university after earning a Post Graduation degree in Commerce.
