The Karnataka CM said that the government is taking all necessary actions to restore the lake. He also said he has asked the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to give Karnataka government time to clean all the weeds and wastage in the Bellandur Lake.
After incessant rains in the city since Monday, the froth has started to scare the residents living around the lake.
According to reports, the wave of the froth was high enough to engulf a two-storey building and residents say that this time the frothing is worse than ever.
The frothing in the lake is due to discharge of sewage water containing household detergents.
