A Kashmiri government college student from South Kashmir and an NCC cadet has been trolled for speaking out against the recent stone pelting and for urging youth to shun sloganeering. “I want to tell the youth that the real azadi (freedom) is here. If you want azadi, it is here,” she said in the post and asked young Kashmiris to stay away from stone pelting.  “Stay away from stone pelting and azadi campaigns…,” one of her posts said.

The girl was the only one representing her college at the ongoing National Cadet Corps (NCC) camp in Nagarkota. Some other women cadets from Kashmir, however, also undergoing training at the camp at Sainik school at Nagrota echoed her views.

The girl was even backed by Deputy CM Nirmal Singh who said that she is representing the Kashmiri people and the youth who wants to live in peace.

“She has spoken the mind of the Kashmiri people,’’ the Deputy CM added.
