In what can be said as a major security breach and negligence by the Delhi Metro authority, the metro’s Yellow line between Chawri bazar and Kashmiri Gate stations ran with doors open at around 10PM on Monday (September 11).

So far there are no reports whether any inquiry has been set up to investigate it this negligence on such a busy and crowded line took place that could have also resulted in tragedy.

Yellow line is one of the most crowded route in Delhi metro. Therefore, the metro train running with doors open is shocking.

However, it is not yet confirmed whether the doors of all the coaches were open or it was just one particular coach.

This is not the first time when such an incident has taken place in Delhi Metro. Previously in July 2014, Delhi Metro Yellow line packed with commuters ran with doors open for more than two minutes on the elevated track between Arjangarh and Ghitorni stations on the Gurgaon-Jahangirpuri line.

However, no one was injured in the incident but it has seriously raised major security concerns.
