Liquor Barron Vijay Mallya will be appearing in Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London for the ongoing extradition case over economic offences in India.

Vijay Mallya is out on bail on an extradition warrant executed by Scotland Yard on behalf of the Indian authorities in April.

Vijay Malya is wanted in India over a default on loans worth Rs 9000 crore to his now defunct Kingfisher Airlines.

The Indian authorities have already given their version as to evidence against the liquor Barron in the case in which he has been named defaulter and to repay loan to the bank.

Previously in July, the Supreme Court had adjourned the hearing on contempt case proceeding against the loan defaulter and further added that the hearing in case will be proceeded further only when Vijay Mallya is produced before it.
