Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) working president MK Stalin on Monday hit out at Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and said that he was using illegal means to stay in power. Stalin comments came after TN Speaker disqualified 18 AIADMK MLAs who were supporting TTV Dinakaran.

Hitting out at the Tamil Nadu Speaker, MK Stalin said that it was a deliberate act by him.

As per reports, MK Stalin is consulting legal experts on the issue of AIADMK MLAs disqualification. The DMK working chief is also planning a party meeting on how to raise or move ahead on this issue. The meeting may take place tomorrow (September 19).

Not only the DMK, but all the parties in the opposition has hit out at the TN Speaker for disqualifying the MLAs while saying that it is an attempt to save the current Palaniswami’s government whenever the floor test happens.

Meanwhile, following the disqualification of the MLAs, TTV Dinakaran faction has move to the Madras High Court against Speaker’s decision.

A while ago, soon after Speaker’s decision, Dinakaran while speaking to the media had said, “We will approach court against the disqualification. All 18 MLAs will vote during confidence motion.”
