Two militants responsible for Wednesday’s attack outside a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) camp in Jammu and Kashmir, have been arrested, police said on Friday. “The two militants, Gazanfer and Arif, involved in the terror attack were arrested and the hunt for a third terrorist is on.

“Two weapons were also recovered,” the police added.

On Wednesday evening, militants attacked the camp near the Jawahar Tunnel in Bannihal area leaving one SSB trooper killed and an another injured.

On Friday, four civilians were also injured when Pakistan Rangers resorted to heavy shelling on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Four civilians were injured in the overnight Pakistan ceasefire violation in Arnia, R.S. Pura and Ramgarh sectors.

“Two houses have been damaged. 727 residents of border villages in these areas have shifted to safer locations,” the police added.
