Coming up after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s guidelines to the Madrasas, now Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Vijay Shah has said that Madrasas in the state should hoist the Tricolour and its students to sing the National Anthem every day. The move has been taken to arouse the feeling of patriotism among the students.

Addressing a function to mark the 20th foundation day of the MP Madarsa Board, Vijay Shah said that regular schools unfurl the Tricolour and sing the national anthem daily. “I appeal to all madrasas in MP to unfurl the Tricolour and sing the national anthem daily.”

Don’t think anybody should have a problem with that. Nobody has, education minister further added.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan pitched his voice for imparting modern education along with religious training at madrasas mentioning that children need to be skilled in these times.

Previously, on September 1, UP government had issued guidelines for all the madrasas to keep a check on fake students and on the corruption within the institutions.

Prior to that a huge row was created after the Yogi government in UP dictated all Madrasas in the state to celebrate the Independence Day and record the event as proof of celebration.
