The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again reiterated that the Centre is ready for talks with all stakeholders including the separatists in Kashmir given that there are no pre-conditions. Party’s stand can be guessed after BJP’s General Secretary in-charge of the state Ram Madhav said that doors are open to all the stake holders in the state, they are welcome to come and have a dialogue.

“Our doors are open to all the stake holders in the state, they are welcome to come and have a dialogue with the state government as well as whosoever wants to talk to central government, we are open to dialogue but the question should be asked to those who do not want to go for the dialogue. But those who want to come for dialogue, we are open and are ready to talk to everybody,” Ram Madhav said.

BJP’s National General Secretary Ram Madhav during his recent visit to Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) said that BJP government is confident of bringing permanent peace to the state and expressed that normalcy will be restored. He also blamed the opposition for inciting people in Kashmir and asked them not to play provocative politics and for myopic political gains and urged the opposition to support the government in its efforts for restoring peace.

Speaking about any pre-conditions for talks, Ram Madhav said that no conditions like terminating the security operations in the valley or others will be entertained.

Amidst all this, separatist leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that they were willing to hold meaningful result oriented dialogue.

Welcoming this move that the Centre was ready to talk to all the stake holders in Kashmir, BJP’s alliance partner in the state Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) said that this chance should not be wasted and it should also bring positive environment in the valley.
