At least two fire tenders have been rushed to Kanpur’s Acharya Nagar after a massive fire broke out in a godown on Sunday evening. So far there are no reports of any casualties. 

All efforts to douse the fire are underway. However, it is not yet confirmed how the building caught the fire. 

It is also yet to be assessed the owner of godown and whether there were any people present there.

Meanwhile, the concerned authorities have reached and monitoring the situation.

Earlier on September 7, at least 6 people were killed after a fire broke out in an under-construction building in Juhu area of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The blaze left 11 others critically injured. The injured were later shifted to RN Cooper Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the cause of the fire was a gas cylinder blast which triggered in the 13-storey under-construction building.

The fire broke out in the wee hours of September 7 and several fire tenders were rushed to the spot that managed to contain the situation.

On the same day, another massive fire broke out at Haldiram’s factory situated at Noida sector 68. Around six fire tenders were rushed to the spot. No casualty was reported in the incident.
