BJP National Executive meet began on Monday morning at 10 AM, the meeting was attended by more than 2,000 delegates, 337 MPs, 1400 MLAs, MLCs and other senior leaders. While addressing the gathering Union Minister Nitin Gadkari lauded the achievement of the BJP-led Central government and said that the biggest economic reform took place during the NDA regime. However, the minister pointed that the economic reform had some teething troubles but it’s a milestone in the country’s economy. Gadkari also mentioned that the NDA government infused a lot of economic activity and his ministry alone has pumped in Rs 40,000 crore.
Nitin Gadkari took a jibe at the previous UPA regime and said that the Congress government lacked a strong will.
Talking about the Prime Minister’s foreign visits Gadkari said that whenever the PM spoke on an international forum, the PM brought terrorism into sharp focus and especially exposing Pakistan. He also prompted that even China blacklisted JeM. Hailing the statesmanship skills of Prime Minister Modi, Gadkari said that situation in Doklam was worrying but the PM Modi resolved it tactfully.
During his speech, the Union Minister even mentioned that the government of the day has strengthened relations with countries like US and Israel and the nation is proud of the work done by the Prime Minister.
The attacks on journalist and political worker were condemned by the Union Minister, he also added that violence has no place in any society but tolerance should not be restricted to one section but for all sections.
Taking a dig at the opposition, Gadkari said that some political parties are trying to derail the fast-moving new India but the government of the day is committed to taking India to new heights.
Gadkari also added that new India will see an eradication of poverty in the coming future.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address party workers at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive meet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also discuss party’s strategy for the upcoming Assembly elections in the states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh in the 2-day extended national executive meet.
