Yogi Adityanath ruled Uttar Pradesh’s security authorities have been put to question after two policemen from Mathura have been accused of allegedly raping a minor girl. As per the victim, the one of the accused policeman was living as a tenant at her house in UP’s Govind Nagar area.

The victim, a class 10 student also claimed that the accused Sub-inspector and constable use to often stalk her.

While talking to media, the victim said that one day, the Sub-inspector took her and her younger sister to a guest house and later called in his friend (constable). The victim alleged that the accused laced her drink and sent her sister to other room.

Later, when she gained her conscious, her sister told her that the policemen gangraped her.

The victim further claimed that the accused threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the matter to anyone.

When the girl narrated the ordeal to her parents, they rushed her to the Govind Nagar Police Station to register the report.

The parents also alleged that the authorities were not ready to register their complain. However, when the matter got highlighted by the media, they filed a complaint.

Following the complaint, Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Mathura suspended the accused Inspector Durga Ramakant Pandey and Constable Praveen Upadhyay. 

Recently, Madhya Pradesh police arrested two people for molesting a 10-year-old girl at an apartment complex in Shivpuri area. The arrests came in after the whole incident was captured in a CCTV camera positioned outside.

As per reports, the incident took place in Sadar bazar on September 24, when two men employed to whitewash the building tried to molest the girl.

Later, when the parents got to know about whole matter, they filed a complaint with the police and submitted the CCTV footage as the evidence.
