Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal has extended his support to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, who has been protesting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government. Today at the Andhra Bhawan in New Delhi, CM Arvind Kejriwal joined the protest and addressed the protesters. In his speech, Arvind Kejriwal said that the way PM Modi has been treating the states led by opposition parties, it seems as if he is Prime Minister of Pakistan and not India. AAP leader said that whenever someone becomes the PM, he doesn’t become the Prime Minister of the party, but the entire country.
Delhi CM alleged that PM Modi has been controlling the independent agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). “PM seized our anti-corruption branch. It was as if the Pakistan army had captured Delhi,” Arvind Kejriwal said.

At the event, where thousands of people were protesting against the Narendra Modi government, Delhi CM congratulated West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, who held a sit-in-protest a few days back against the CBI over interrogation with Kolkata Police chief Rajeev Kumar. Kejriwal said, “I congratulate Mamata di for bravely fighting with PM Modi’s CBI officials.”

Andhra Pradesh CM and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) N Chandrababu Naidu began a day-long fast in demand of special status to his state. Opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Farooq Abdullah have also extended their support and met N Chandrababu Naidu in New Delhi Today.
