Centre should give protection to Kashmiri Pandits: Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister criticized the Centre on Sunday for the recent spike in targeted killings in Jammu and Kashmir, saying the government had no strategy for Kashmiri Pandits.

He also attacked Pakistan, accusing it of sponsoring terror operations in Kashmir, while speaking at the Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

At a demonstration against targeted killings in Kashmir, Kejriwal remarked “I’d want to inform Pakistan that its petty methods must end. Kashmir will always be a part of India, no matter what.”

In the public address Kejriwal stated, “Whenever there is a murder in Kashmir, it comes out in the media that the ‘Home Minister called a meeting.”

He further slammed Modi government asking “How many meetings are you going to call? Now is the time to take action. India asks that something be done. Your meeting has come to an end. Inform the rest of the country about the plan. People are perishing.”

Delhi Cm has raised some demands during the gathering, “The Central Government should put in front of the country a plan to stop the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits and Army personnel. As well as the bond signed with Kashmiri Pandits should be canceled.”

It further continued, “Accept all the demands of Kashmiri Pandits, they should be given protection.”

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also criticized the BJP for failing to safeguard citizens in the Valley.
