Har Ghar Tiranga: Vice President flags off bike rally

Central ministers, young parliamentarians, and several MPs participated in the rally that originated from the historic Red Fort to pay tribute to the freedom fighters as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.


“A significant event was organised today. We started off from the historical Red Fort and several Union ministers, MPs and youth leaders came together and paid homage to the freedom fighters,” said Union minister Anurag Thakur said.


The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ was organised a day after the Ministry of Culture hosted a mega ‘Tiranga Utsav’ event to mark the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. During the ‘Tiranga Utsav’, Union Home Minister Amit Shah appealed to the citizens to participate in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with great enthusiasm.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed his profile picture on Twitter and Facebook accounts with a photograph of the national flag as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative.
