Kamal Hassan has put an end to all the rumours about joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after making his political debut. Kamal Hassan will be floating his own political outfit on his 63rd birthday which is on November 7. Earlier, the actor had said that he is ready to join hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party if required.

Interestingly, he had earlier in a statement said that ”his colour is definitely not saffron”, which had created rumours that even if he jumps into politics it’s not going to be with the BJP. However, going by a news report on a leading website, the actor can be in for a merger with BJP as well.

“I am ready to join hands with the BJP if needed, there is no untouchability in politics,” Haasan said in an interview.

Earlier this month, Kamal Haasan had taken the state by storm when he announced that he will be entering politics with a newly formed party. He has been vocal in his criticism of the AIADMK and the corruption in the state.

Kamal Haasan had also met Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and declared that “saffron is not my colour”

Last month, Kamal Hassan also had a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and there were speculations doing rounds that he might join hands with him. The meeting lasted for over an hour and the Delhi CM also invited Kamal Hassan to join active politics to fight corruption and communalism. Kejriwal was received by Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara at the airport and taken to his house.
