Questions are being raised over security issues and handling of children in private schools after several cases of rape, molestation have surface in the past couple of months.
Earlier in the day, a student of Sonipat school had alleged that she was gang-raped by two school staff members and asked the Prime Minister to intervene in the matter. The victim wrote a letter to PM Modi seeking justice in her case.
The Sonipat student also alleged that the school management did not act on her complaint and that’s why she wrote a letter to the Prime Minister. Sonipat DSP said that the victim had blamed two staff member who work in the school and that a team was carrying further probe in the case.
Prior to that, a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team, which took over the case of Pradyuman who was found murdered in Ryan International School, brought the accused bus conductor to the school premises. Reports suggest that the CBI wanted to recreate the sequence of events when the crime actually happened on September 8.
The CBI was given the charge for investigating this case after repeated requests from victim’s father who appealed Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and state administration to have a fair probe in the murder case of his child.
