RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and his daughter are under the scanner of the Central Bureau of Investigation in a complaint related to land for railway job scam. On Friday, CBI registered a fresh case against RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav and conducted searches at 17 locations in Delhi and Bihar.
Reacting to the raids, Lalu Prasad’s brother Prabhunath Yadav told the media that it is unfortunate that a person who is ill is being deliberately troubled like this. He added that it is well known who is behind this.
RJD leader Alok Mehta also reacted to the CBI raids and called it an attempt to muzzle a strong voice. He said that CBI’s direction and actions are completely biased.
After the raids, police presence can be seen outside the former Bihar CM. Meanwhile, RJD leaders and workers protest against ongoing CBI raids at multiple locations of party chief Lalu Yadav.
