Ajmer Sharif, according to Maharana Pratap Sena, is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The organisation has also addressed a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, requesting that the Archaeological Survey of India investigate the incident (ASI). If the survey is not performed, the head of MPS has stated that a movement will be launched.
In the midst of the ongoing temple-mosque debate across the country, the Hindutva fringe group Maharana Pratap Sena has claimed that Ajmer Sharif is a Shiva temple.
The group has also addressed a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, requesting that the ASI investigate the matter.
Officials from the Maharana Pratap Sena also published a photo of Swastika emblems on the windows of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
The founder of MPS, Rajvardhan Singh Parmar, asserts that the Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah in Ajmer was an ancient Shiva temple.
What is the purpose of Swastika within the Dargah, he inquired, adding that the state administration and the federal government should investigate.
We will meet the Union Ministers if the probe is not completed in a week, he added, adding that if the survey is not completed, a movement will be launched.
