Two minor boys were arrested by Uttar Pradesh police for raping another minor student from the same school. After the incident came to light police registered an FIR in the case and booked the minors under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act. The accused minors in the case are students of class four and class five. The victim in this case is a student of class 2. The parents of the victim filed a complaint with the police after the girl informed her parents that the boys inserted an object in her private parts. The incident took place on November 8.

Rakesh Kumar Singh, the Sahibabad station house officer told Hindustan Times, according to the parents of the victim, the incident took place inside the washroom of the school. The students reached the school on an off-day that was instructed by the district magistrate due to the rising pollution, as the message of the holiday could not be conveyed to all. Singh also said that when asked about the incidents, the boys told them they had only slapped the girl as she was troubling them.

Another eyewitness in the case a student of the school mentioned that the boys did not enter the washroom. The parents of the victim were getting late to reach the school to pick up the girl. They asked the school authorities to leave the child with the guards in the school but one of the teachers decided to take her home. Later the parents reached the teacher’s place and got the girl back.

However the girl did not complain about any sexual assault at that time not even after reaching home. After a few days she started bleeding from her private parts and then she was rushed to a hospital where she told her parents about the ordeal.

A medical report of the girl is yet to come.
