Actor and TDP leader, Nandamuri Harikrishna died in a road accident in Telangana on Wednesday. Son of ex-Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NTR senior met an accident on Narketpally-Addanki highway in Nalgonda district. He was then rushed to Kamineni Hospital where he was declared dead at around 7:30 am. Reports said that the former actor was on his way to Kavali, a village in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district, to attend the wedding of a fan.

The car, which he himself was driving, rammed into the median at high-speed. Following the collision, Harikrishna fell out of the car and met severe injuries. According to the doctors at Kamineni Hospital, the actor was brought to the hospital with serious head injuries and the bleeding was unstoppable. A video of the accident spot has also surfaced that shows Harikrishan lying on the road while his car is wrecked.

Earlier in December 2014, Harikrishna’s son Janakiram was also killed in a road accident near Nalgonda. The former actor is survived by his wife, daughter Sushasini and sons Junior NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanram. In 2009, Junior NTR also met an accident but escaped with injuries.
