Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Vanijya Bhawan headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry tomorrow.

The Vanijya Bhawan, built near India Gate, is a smart structure that includes sustainable architecture concepts, with a specific emphasis on energy conservation. It will function as an integrated and modern office complex for the Ministry’s two departments, namely the Department of Commerce and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

According to an official announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the PM will also unveil a new webpage called National Import-Export Record for Yearly Trade Analysis (NIRYAT).

NIRYAT is being created as a one-stop portal for stakeholders to obtain all relevant information on India’s foreign trade.

PM Modi is also expected to address a gathering on the occasion of the Vanijya Bhawan’s opening.
