Along with the presidents of Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate digitally in the first Leaders’ Summit of I2U2 on July 14.

I2U2 aims to promote collaborative investments in six sectors that have been mutually agreed upon, including water, energy, transportation, space, health, and food security.

“Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be participating in an I2U2 Summit, along with Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid, President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President of the USA Joseph R. Biden,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.

The I2U2 Grouping was conceptualized during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the four countries held on October 18 last year. “Each country also has Sherpa-level interactions regularly to discuss the possible areas of cooperation,” the MEA said.

In order to assist modernise the infrastructure, our industries’ low-carbon growth routes, the public’s health, and the advancement of vital emerging and green technologies, it aims to mobilise private sector funding and skills.

In order to expand the economic collaboration in trade and investment in our respective regions and beyond, the Leaders will explore potential collaborative initiatives within the I2U2 framework as well as other similar areas of mutual interest.

These initiatives can offer chances for our businesspeople and employees while also serving as an example for economic cooperation.
