Update: National Herald Case, Ruckus in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha

National Herald case, under which the party leader Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have been accused of money laundering.

Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are witnessing obstreperous behavior from the opposition against the misuse of central agencies by the Modi Government.

As the party leader Rahul Gandhi reached the parliament he declared that he is not scared of the prime minister and dared the opposition to keep putting “barricades” to conceal the truth.

In connection with the National Herald case, The Enforcement Department (ED) summoned Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday. He argued whether summon by the central government is suitable amid the monsoon session.

While Rajya Sabha is adjourned till Friday, Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 Pm as the house was echoing with the slogans – Edshahi band Karo, stop the illicit use of the ED.

While the Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has given a short duration discussion notice in Rajya Sabha over the misuse of investigation agencies CBI, ED, and I-T by the central government.

All of this came amid the ongoing National Herald case, under which the party leader Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have been accused of money laundering.
