Neeta Bhushan, India’s High Commissioner to New Zealand, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of Niue.
Neeta Bhushan is a 1994-class Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer. The Ministry of External Affairs announced in a release that Neeta Bhushan (IFS: 1994), who is now India’s High Commissioner to New Zealand, has been concurrently accredited as India’s new High Commissioner to Niue, with residence in Wellington.
Bhushan was appointed the Indian High Commissioner to the Cook Islands and Niue.
Neetu Bhushan will be accredited as the new High Commissioner of the Cook Islands, according to a statement made earlier on December 2 by the External Affairs Ministry.
An official statement read, “Neeta Bhushan (IFS: 1994), now serving as India’s High Commissioner to New Zealand, has also been accredited to serve as India’s upcoming High Commissioner to the Cook Islands, with residence in Wellington.
It said, “She is anticipated to take up the duty shortly.”
