With the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 just around the corner, the war of words between the two parties — Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – is totally inevitable. However, this ‘ war of words’ sometimes sums up the entire entertainment capsule for a viewer. While speaking at the 112th annual session and PHD Annual Awards for Excellence 2017 in the national capital, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party BJP over their several policies.
Apart from criticising the ruling government over their working, Rahul Gandhi also opened up about his marriage plans. During his address, boxer Vijender Singh quickly grabbed the chance of asking Rahul Gandhi about his marriage plans. Vijender Singh said that he along with his wife often discuss as to when Rahul ‘bhai’ will get married. Disclosing his marriage plans, Rahul Gandhi said, “Jab hogi to hogi (it will happen, when it is bound to happen), I believe in destiny.”

Replying to boxer Vijender Singh’s question over the development of sports in India, and what would be Rahul Gandhi’s stand towards sports, Rahul Gandhi said that sparets is a very important part in his life. He said, “I exercise, run, swim & also hold a black belt in Aikido but I never speak of these in public.”
Replaying to this statement, Vijender Singh asked Rahul Gandhi to upload a workout video, to which a smiling Rahul Gandhi said yes.
For those who are not updated about Rahul Gandhi’s marriage plans, last year social media was abuzz over reports on Rahul Gandhi’s marriage. The matter was highlighted after BJP MP Subramanian Swamy said that Rahul Gandhi’s marriage plans were being made by keeping 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls in mind by Congress.
