During a public gathering, PM Modi remarked, “The Diwali festival has already begun in Una and Himachal Pradesh. I’m excited to announce presents to Himachal before Dhanteras and Diwali totaling many thousand billions rupees. I signalled the start of the new Vande Bharat train’s first voyage today.

This is the country’s fourth introduction of a Vande Bharat train.”

In an attack on Congress, he stated, “I recall Himachal’s plight. No progress had been made. The previous governments in Himachal and in Delhi were equally uninterested in meeting your demands. They will never be able to comprehend your ambitions.”

According to the PM, the BJP administration is constructing new infrastructure and pursuing the aspirations of the populace.

Bulk Drug Park was officially opened by Prime Minister Modi today, and he predicted that it would draw in investments totaling about Rs 2,000 crore. When raw materials and manufacture are created in Himachal Pradesh, he claimed, medications would become less expensive.

He said that the BJP-led administration in Himachal is not only meeting the demands of 20th-century citizens but also delivering the cutting-edge amenities of the 21st century to every door.

“The government’s primary priorities have always been the improvement of digital infrastructure, the development of rural roads, the accessibility of water supplies, and healthcare facilities. The problems of the past are being resolved, and New India is expanding quickly “he remarked

In order to highlight the growth of rural infrastructure, PM Modi said that in Himachal, rural roads are being built twice as quickly as usual and that connection to Gram Panchayats is also being established at a rapid rate.

PM Modi on Thursday lay the cornerstone for the Bulk Drug Park in Una, Himachal Pradesh, with the intention of significantly advancing the pharmaceutical industry.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) estimates that the Drug Park will cost more than Rs 1,900 crore to construct. The Park will assist in lessening reliance on imported active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).

Over 20,000 employees would be employed as well as a projected investment of over Rs 10,000 crores. Additionally, it will boost regional economic activity, according to the PMO.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una was also opened by PM Modi. In 2017, the Prime Minister laid the building’s cornerstone.
PM Modi visited the alpine state earlier today and officially off the Vande Bharat Express at the Una railway station.

Jairam Thakur, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of railways, and Anurag Thakur, a union minister and the representative for Hamirpur, was also present.

The fourth Vande Bharat train to be introduced in the nation, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), is travelling from Amb Andaura to New Delhi. It is an upgraded version compared to the prior ones, being considerably lighter and capable of attaining higher speed in less duration.

It takes only 52 seconds to reach 100 km/h. The installation of the train will increase tourism in the area and offer a convenient and quick way of transportation.

The Vande Bharat Express is a modern train that is revolutionising passenger transport in India.
