According to police, Baspur Bangla RS Pura was the approximate region where two people were allegedly involved in using drones to dump munitions.

An official statement stated that on the nights between Thursday and Friday, the drone was observed moving in the mentioned location in a suspicious manner.

When the incident was reported to the police, it stated “The police stations were immediately informed, and a dedicated team was also put on the job, which arrested two persons, namely Chander Bose and Shamsher Singh, who further disclosed that they used to work on behalf of OGW, specifically Balvinder R/O Jammu (now settled in Europe).”

Adding further police stated that all three of these individuals work for a prohibited terrorist organisation.

According to police officials, Balvinder was liaising with both the Indian accused and the Pakistani consignment handlers.

In the course of inquiry, police also discovered several weapons and rounds of ammunition in the hands of accused, including four handguns, eight magazines, and 47 over-pressure rounds.

According to the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act’s sections 13, 16, and 18, a case has been opened in connection with the occurrence.

This is the fourth shipment that authorities have seized this year. A first-ever munitions shipment including chemicals supplied by Pakistan in liquid form through a drone was intercepted by the police earlier in February.
