According to a Business intelligence company Survey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi topped the list of the most popular world leaders for the third time in a row, with a 75% approval rating.

On the list, PM Modi is followed by Mexican President Manuel Lopez Obrador and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. Obrador has a 63% approval rating, while Draghi has a 54% approval rating. There were 22 world leaders on the list.

US Vice President Joe Biden came in fifth place with 41% of the vote. Behind Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in sixth place with 39% of the vote, and Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is in seventh place with 38% of the vote.

Previously, PM Modi topped the list of the world’s most popular leaders in November 2021 and January 2022.
Morning Consult is a real-time data platform for elections, politicians, and current events. It conducts over 20,000 interviews per day.
‘The most recent approval ratings are based on data collected from August 17 to 23, 2022,’ according to the website. Each country’s approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents, with sample sizes varying by country.’ All interviews with a nationally representative sample of adults are conducted online. The sample in India represents the literate population.
