The much-awaited phone from Samsung – the S8 and S8 plus are finally here.
Samsung Galaxy S8, which is a 5.8 incher and is priced at Rs 57,900 and the 6.2 inch s8+ on the other hand, is priced at Rs 64,900
The phone does look stunning with that edge to edge or as Samsung would like to call it, the infinity display.
The phone is tall and not all that wide and it felt good to hold and operate. S8 has an aspect ratio of 18:5:9 instead of 16:9. There’s no physical home button, moving to a pressure sensitive display arrangement for the home button, with customisable navigation controls on the screen. Meanwhile, the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the rear alongside the camera. Now as expected, instead of the snapdragon 835, the phone is powered by Samsung’s exynos 8895 processor. There is 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage and it runs android nougat with Samsung’s touchwiz ui.
The Galaxy S8 gets a 3,000mah battery, whereas the Galaxy S8+ offers a 3,500mah battery. The S8 definitely looks stunning, has lots of new features and a lot more.
