NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi has reached Dadri to meet victim, Mohammad Ikhlaq’s Family.
After visiting the family, Rahul Gandhi expressed his gried and disappointment in a series of tweets, being posted by him on his twitter page:

A body of Congress delegates led by UP PPC are to visit Dadri tomorrow to meet the victim’s family. RPN Singh, Jitin Prasada, and Shriprakash Jaiswal are a part of this delegation.
A tragic incident took place in Dadri district of Uttar Pradesh on September 30, 2015, when a mob killed a 50-year old man for allegedly eating beef. (Also Read: Mob kills a man over beef eating rumours, son critically injured)
Mohammad Akhlaq (50) and his son, Danish (22), were dragged out of their house and attacked with bricks. Akhlaq was beaten to death and his son is reported to be critical. 
“My husband was bleeding. His head was smashed. They beat the family…my husband had no enemies…,” Akhlaq’s wife told media.
Today itself, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the place of incident, where he was first being restricted to enter and after being restrained for about four hours in a guest house, he was allowed to meet the victim’s family. Two main accused in the case, Shivam and Vishal, have been arrested today. So far, 8 accused have been arrested. (Also Read: Two accused arrested in Beef lynching case)
