According to Police, the Homeguard, Binay, forced the temple priest to spread this rumour of a Muslim family storing and consuming beef.
On Saturday, Dadri Police arrested two more suspects, Vishal Rana and Shivam Rana, who are cousins. They are the ones who are believed to have allegedly claimed to have seen the remains of beef in the house of the Muslim family, which they then informed to Vinay. Vishal Rana, is the son of a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Sanjay Rana, who has demanded a CBI probe into the case.
If sources are to be believed, Vinay had been instigating a group of youths to attack the Muslim family, as he had a personal dispute with Akhlaq earlier. (Also Read:Wrong to kill anyone for eating beef: Lalu)
