Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad along with his family including wife and former chief minister Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti and son Tej Pratap cast their votes in Patna on Wednesday.
The third phase of Bihar’s staggered assembly elections in 50 constituencies is under way.
Former chief minister Lalu was clad in his usual cotton kurta and payjama. He was accompanied with Rabri Devi, Misa and Tej Pratap who cast their vote at a polling booth in veterinary college under Digha assembly constituency in Patna.
Lalu’s younger son Tejaswi Yadav had already voted. Tejaswi is contesting polls from Raghopur seat and Tej Pratap is in fray from Mahua assembly seat in Vaishali district.
Lalu’s elder daughter Misa is one the star campaigners of the party and Rabri Devi has vigorously campaigned in Raghopur and Mahua seats in support of her two sons.
Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi has also cast his vote here.
