KOLKATA: Two women are injured in a blast that was reported from Katwa’s Begunkhola village in Burdwan district of West Bengal on Saturday around 8 AM.
Both of them have been shifted to a district hospital for medical treatment.
Reports suggest that the impact of the blast, whose nature is yet to be confirmed, was so strong that a roof of a house was totally damaged.
According to the police sources, investigations are on and a forensics team is at the site looking into the matter.

Mamata Banerjee headed state in the recent past has witnessed a big number of such incidents. Burdwan was the headlines everywhere after a unit of the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, Bangladesh had been busted.
