Dilip Jaiwal Calls Political Rivals ‘Kutta’

Launching a sharp attack on the opposition, Jaiswal questioned the contribution of leaders who speak about bringing change in Bihar and society.

While attacking the opposition, Jaiswal questioned the contribution of leaders who used to speak about bringing change in Bihar and society. He stated that those who used to claim that they could transform the state should first explain what they had done for Bihar’s education and welfare. He also mentioned that if they had resources, then they should spend them on building schools and hospitals rather than doing poor politics.

While questioning the opposition, the Bihar minister made a controversial remark when he compared his opponents to dogs.

In the event, he said, “Even a dog works to earn its livelihood. In the same way, some people enter politics only to become leaders,” He further remarked that such leaders should be “beaten with sticks and socially boycotted.”

He also added that people who used to be involved in genuine social service deserve respect, while people who do politics would ultimately be judged by the public.

Remarks on Article 370 and Kashmir

While addressing the event, he also spoke about the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir; he claimed that this has opened a new phase of development in the region.

Jaiswal also said that young people in Kashmir are now increasingly focusing on education and alleged that separatism and militancy had been encouraged in the past, but the situation has since changed.

The minister also claimed that “today, the youth of Pakistan are seen holding pens and books,” without elaborating further on the statement.
