According to Russia’s news source Sputnik, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) captured a suicide bomber, a member of the ISIS terrorist group, who was planning a terrorist assault against one of India’s ruling elite.
“Russia’s FSB detected and apprehended a member of the Islamic State international terrorist group, a citizen of a Central Asian country, who wanted to execute a terrorist act by blowing himself up against one of India’s governing circles,” the authority stated in a statement.

The detainee was recruited as a suicide bomber by ISIS in Turkey, according to the statement.

This story is still developing, and more information is forthcoming.

The central government designated ISIS and all of its manifestations as terrorist organisations and listed them in the First Schedule to the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act of 1967.

According to the Union Home Ministry, ISIS is spreading its ideology through numerous internet-based social media channels. The agencies responsible are keeping a careful eye on cyberspace in this respect, and action is being taken in accordance with the law.
