New Delhi: Smartphone firebrand Apple will be launching the new iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus in India today as Apple fans in India brace themselves for a jack-less phone.

Unlike midnight launches familiar in foreign countries, the iPhone 7 will be launched from 7pm on Friday through online retailers and Apple authorised resellers.

What should we expect?

The new iPhone models will be equipped with three different storage capacities: 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

The iPhone 7 will come in five colour variants which is gold, rose gold, silver, black and jet black.

For the Indian Apple customers, the price range of the iPhone 7 will be Rs 60,000 for the 32GB, Rs 70,000 for 128GB and Rs 80,000 for 256GB.

For the iPhone 7 Plus, the price range for the iPhone 7 will be Rs 72,000 for 32GB, Rs 82,000 for 128GB and Rs 92,000 for 256GB.

No headphone jack

The iPhone 7 will not sport the conventional headphone jack. A separate wireless ear pods will have to be purchased or customers can use the customised headphone provided by Apple.
