Amidst speculation around MS Paint disappearing soon, Microsoft has come straight upfront to settle down the confusion around it. Here’s the good news – Microsoft confirmed that MS Paint will not be taken down, besides, it’s only coming up with a better bigger version of the trusty old app into –Paint 3D program.

“Today, we’ve seen an incredible outpouring of support and nostalgia around MS Paint. If there’s anything we learned, it’s that after 32 years, MS Paint has a lot of fans.” Microsoft said in a blog post.

Microsoft further added stating that their 32 year-long-standing photo editing software MS Paint will not go anywhere. It will only get a new home, the Windows store, wherein the app will be available for free to the users.

MS Paint will be soon be replaced by Paint 3D, the new app for creativity, which will be available with the new Windows 10 creators update. “In addition to the new 3D capabilities, many of the MS Paint features people know and love like photo editing,lines and curve tools, and 2D creation are in Paint 3D” Microsoft blogged.
