The last film of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, ‘Sharmaji Namkeen,’ is set to be released on Amazon Prime Video tomorrow. During the filming of the film, Kapoor died of leukaemia, and the film was completed by Paresh Rawal. Both Kapoor and Rawal play the role of BG Sharma, a 58-year-old widower and middle-class guy.

Ranbir Kapoor earlier shared a video expressing how special this movie is for the entire Kapoor family. In the video, he said, “The show must go on – you all have heard it, but I have seen my father live that.”
The movie directed by Hitesh Bhatia starring Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha and Isha Talwar narrates the story of a retired man who discovers passion for cooking in the later stage of his life.
