Here are the 10 facts about the Supercomputers:

1. Three Param Rudra Supercomputers are valued at Rs 130 crore. 

 

2. Built Under The NSM (National Supercomputing Mission) to boost technological independence and innovation in India.

 

3. Incorporates the latest cutting edge hardware and software technologies: It means the supercomputers incorporate most advanced and innovative tools, systems, and techniques available in the world of computing and technology.

 

4. Significant portion of components manufactured and assembled in India:

 

5. Capable of handling complex calculations and simulations at a very high speed.

 

6. Supercomputers will be used in weather forecasting, climate modelling, drug discovery, material science and AI.

 

7. The super computers are deployed in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata to facilitate easier and more accessible scientific research
