London: In one of the most one-sided Merseyside derbies in recent times, Divock Origi, Mamadou Sakho, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho scored one goal each to seal a brilliant win for Liverpool against Everton pocketing their third consecutive English Premier League (EPL) win.

Origi and Sakho gave the hosts a commanding 2-0 lead just before half-time scoring in the 43rd and 47th minute (extra time) respectively.

Everton were reduced to 10-men just after half-time in the 50th minute when Funes Mori received a red card after an ugly challenge that forced Origi to leave the field on a stretcher.

The Argentine will now miss the next three games, including the weekend Wembley date with Manchester United, while John Stones is a doubt after departing on the hour clutching his leg.

Meanwhile, Everton endured a worst possible preparation ahead of their FA Cup semi-final clash on Saturday against Manchester United.
