Johannesburg: Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has cited a lengthy injury list as the reason behind his side’s struggles in the ongoing season.

The Dutchman stated that United have played in three competitions and are the team who have played the most number of matches this season with a small group with 14 injuries, Sport24 reported.
He pointed out that United were leading the points table when everybody was fit, insisting that the club has performed considerably well despite the injury challenges they had to face throughout the season.
