New Delhi: When all the talks regarding his transfer and his future at Everton were almost considered imminent, Newcastle player Moussa Sissoko turned heads and settled with Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham for a transfer deal of £30 million.

Everton were initially interested in acquiring the midfielder and had proposed their quote for the player. But when repeated discrepancies led to disagreements, Sissoko steered the wheels toward White Hart Lane, decisively snubbing off Everton’s overture. It is rumoured that Everton is fumed at Sissoko’s abrupt move to Tottenham.
