London: Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-1 on Friday by virtue of captain Jordan Henderson’s stunning goal at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
“We played football like hell, It was really nice to watch. In the second half it was a bit more difficult. After their goal, we managed it well,” said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after their win.
It was Chelsea manager Conte’s first home league defeat since a 2-1 loss to Sampdoria with Juventus in January 2013.
With this victory, Liverpool have made it to top four of the tournament.
