Belo Horizonte: Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero has been left out of Argentina’s starting eleven ahead of the vital World Cup qualifier against Brazil in Belo Horizonte on Thursday.

In the English Premier League (EPL), Aguero has been in terrific form playing for Manchester City. Since his return from a ban, forced on him for collecting a red card during one of the EPL matches, he has been instrumental in City’s winning run.

Manchester City’s hitman has scored 8 goals in 9 games so far this season in the top flight of English football.

Argentina’s coach, Edgardo Bauza has selected a strong midfield along with the strike pair of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain. Aguero will start the game from the bench.

Brazil has also named a strong squad ahead of the qualifier as they look to beat Argentina to ease the memories of their last visit to Belo Horizonte, when they took a 7-1 mauling from Germany in World Cup 2014.
