Barcelona forward Neymar showed his support towards Manchester City’s teenage sensation Gabriel Jesus after visiting him in hospital on Friday as the young striker underwent surgery on a broken bone in his right foot.
For Pep Guradiola’s side, Gabriel has been a difference-maker on several occasions by netting three times in his first three Premier League matches.
Unfortunately, the 19-year-old suffered a fractured metatarsal during Manchester City’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Gabriel was also photographed on the streets of Manchester walking with crutches and a protective boot on his right foot.
He received some support from former Brazil captain Neymar when the Barca sensation took the opportunity to visit his recovering friend and international team-mate while he was in town.
Neymar posted a photo with Gabriel Jesus on his Instagram:
The caption on Neymar’s Instagram handle read: “Good to see you are alright young man. Come back flying soon. We are together son.”
