It was a fairly entertaining game of attacking football from both Stoke City and Manchester united as the two teams kept moving forward and made several attempts on goal. The game ended with a 2-2 draw but the fans got too see some real English play.

Both teams will go home with a point each. Lukaku had 6 while Pogba and Rashford managed 4 shots each on target. United’s winning streak has finally ended but the Red Devils will keep the top spot on table by goal difference.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for United with Lukaku netting the second one. For Stoke it was Choupo- Moting who scored two past David De Gea and ensured a point from the game for his side.

Jose Mourinho was not satisfied with the draw but was content that his boys gave it all in the game today

“It was a difficult match for different reasons. My players, after the international break, are not the same. They weren’t performing at their normal level but we were in the game, we fought hard and we were closer to winning than losing. Stoke are big, strong and powerful in the air. They fought hard and probably deserved a point. It is not what we came for but a point is a point. The performance was more than enough for the point and enough for the three points.” said , Mourinho after the game.

68 mins: Moting is effectively taking benefits from United’s faults and is helping his team in the possession game. He is on his hat-trick and has impressed highly today with his performance. You can expect anything from here now.

Moting has got his second one in the game. De Gea saved a brilliant shpt but Shaqiri was there to flash the ball and set Moting for a header. That was quick again but this time from Stoke and United will be disappointed of losing the lead. Scores levelled.

61 mins: Its an open game and the two teams are trying their best to get goals listed. Jesse takes a counter run but wastes it as United tackles him with ease.

GOAL! Stoke City 1-2 Manchester United (Lukaku 57)

Yes, there is is from Lukaku who puts it inside in a second go. Darmian came rushing with the ball to play it to Miki who creates a beautiful chance for Lukaku as the Belgian stands clear of all the defenders and kicks it in only to get it deflected by Butland but gets it right in the second attempt from the rebound. More goals to rain here soon.

53 mins: Both the teams are playing their attacking game well and a goal is not far away but it will be difficult to decide which team will take the credits.

46 mins: Stoke makes a substitution with Martins Indi coming in for Wimmer. The ball gets in play with United keeping initial possession.

Teams are out again for another round of fiery football at the Bet 365 Stadium

Half Time: A great game of football as the two team leave with one goal each at the half time. Rashford and Jesse have been brilliant for their sides creating chances and troubling the defenders. Stoke would not have expected that goal though in just 161 seconds after the Reds conceded their first goal of the season. There is a lot of football still left here and I am expecting another exciting half with some tactical changes from both ends. You cannot afford to miss this encounter, not even a single minute of it. English football you know.

GOAL – Stoke 1-1 United (Rashford 45)

Now that was quick, United have cancelled Stoke’s lead with Rashford netting the first for Red Devils. Just when everyone thought Mkhitaryan was having a bad day he chipped in a brilliant ball which was further flashed by Matic and went to Pogba who headed it, the ball was deflects of Rashford and Pogba celebrates. So whose goal was that, fairly Rashford’s but he wasn’t interested in taking the credits.

Moting was always up for it he was running well and was continuously possessing threat for Bally and Jones. Fletcher found Diouf on the other flank and Diouf created a perfect ball in for moting who had plenty of space and scored a wonderful first goal for the Potters. United will now have to get the goal sorted, two minutes into halftime.

40 mins: Shaqiri has been lively today with good touches. Where is Mkhitaryan though? Stoke are pressing hard now for the first goal with United defence put into threat. Stoke defence has been brick today, hard to break. 5 minutes to go for the first half.

39 Mins: Fletcher gives away another free-kick to United, Matic hasn’t look at his best up till now with some awful passes. Valencia has created considerable space and tried his luck but United would have to do a little more to put the ball into the nets.

35 mins: Valencia has been running well on the right-flank, he has provided some brilliant crosses and has teared down the Potter’s defence on occasions. He tried one from Herrera but the ball went away before any united forward could have come close. United are trying to create some pressure there.

31 mins: Shaqiri tries it again as he leaps the ball from the left from 25 yards but De Gea comes in between and keeps the ball. What a cracker this is turning out to be, both the sides are making serious attempts to draw the first blood. Lukaku linked up well with Valencia to deliver a good cross which is blocked in the middle by Zouma.

27 mins: Shaqiri tries to create a ball there for Jese but the pass land straight to De Gea who takes it into his arms. perhaps a little too ambitious from Shaqiri there. He has been continuously on an idea to somehow find Jesse inside the box.

24 mins: That was close from Bailly, he perfectly holds a pass from Rashford and tries to slid in past Butland who makes a saves by diving on the lower left.

23 mins: Fletcher has kept the things in flair in the midfield for potters with some extraordinary passing with Joe Allen but United back line is keeping them shut. Shaqiri also gets the ball and creates it for Jesse who is easily tackled buy Valencia and Bailly.

20 mins:  Choupo-Moting has been the man on the front for the Potters, the forward has put the United defence on test here. Lukaku’s shot is saved on the other end by Stoke Goalkeeper Jack Butland.

16 mins: Bailly is right into the job as United covert some ground early into the game, the Reds are keeping it tight on the back and Rashford has been a threat upfront. Stoke are defending well to keep any threats away from the post.

12 mins: United are getting into the groove with Marcus Rashford trying to create chances, Herrera tried to create a ball for the England forward but Darren Fletcher dealt with it strongly. Things are getting on here steadily. Fletcher’s handball gives United a free kick which is wasted as Mkhitaryan low shot is blocked by Wimmer.

8 mins: De Gea denies Shaqiri’s corner as the game heats up a bit. Both the teams are keeping it fiery with a lot of battling going inside the two penalty areas. united have enjoyed a bit of possession and are looking to get that ball in real soon. Stoke too have started on a confident note but United won’t tumble so early.

4 mins: A good start from Stoke as Jese runs forward with the ball before putting it wide across. Jese seems to have carried the confidence from Arsenal game.

1 min: Game on here at the Bet 365 stadium with United taking the ball into the Stoke half. Jese took the ball in just 30 secs into it and set it up for Choupo-Moting who couldn’t do much there as a corner is given.
