While continuing the bashing of Donald Trump for allegedly dividing the whole nation in his own row with the sporting world, NBA superstar and Cleveland Warrior forward Lebron James said that he did not mind calling the President of the United States of America a ‘bum’. The self proclaimed ‘Basketball man’ also stated the fact that Trump is clueless in terms of the amount of power he has as a President.

“He doesn’t understand the power that he has for being a leader of this beautiful country, Lebron said in a statement. “He doesn’t understand how many kids, no matter the race, look up to the president of the United States for guidance, for leadership, for words of encouragement,” James added.

The 32-year-old Cleveland forward also stated the fact that it’s the people who run this country not one individual.

It all began with the President himself when he launched campaign against football players who took a knee during the US national anthem on Monday in a protest. The whole stadium echoed with boos before both teams’ locked arms on their own sidelines for the national anthem.

While unleashing his reply, Trump said that the NFL players should be suspended or sacked immediately for their miss- conduct during the national anthem.

With that nobody was spared, even the NBA superstar and Golden State Warriors’ very own Steph Curry,  who was withdrawn from an invitation to join this year’s NBA champions’ on a customary White House meeting.

Albeit Curry already made it clear that he has no intention to visit the White House this time around.

The three-time champion James told reporters at NBA Media Day that he salutes all the NFL players and coaches as ‘everyone associated with the NFL was unbelievable’.

“First of all, I salute the NFL, the coaches, the players, the owners, the fans. Everyone had any association with the NFL was unbelievable,” James was quoted as saying.

While referring towards the President James continued and said, “There was no divide, even from that guy that continues to try to divide us as people”.

“We know this is the greatest country in the world, this is the land of the free,” James said in a statement.

“But we still have problems just like everybody else. And when we have those problems, we have to figure out a way to come together and be as great as we can be as a people, James added.
