Right back Dani Carvajal has revealed UEFA Champions League title defenders Real Madrid have zero doubts over their star striker’s dipping goal scoring form after an agitating start to this season. ‘Nobody doubts Cristiano,’ Dani Carvajal said at Madrid’s pre-match media conference. The 25-year-old defender believes that he his lucky to enjoy the four-time Ballon d’Or winner’s companionship and the Portuguese winger will eventually end up taking chances that comes in his way.

“I’m lucky enough to enjoy playing with him in every training session. It’s amazing. He will end up taking the chances that come his way,’’ Carvajal said in a statement. “The team is fine in general, we’ve just been lacking accuracy in these first few games, but the important thing is to create chances,” he added.

When asked about the unpleasant results Madrid received including their home defeat to Real Betis last week, Carvajal was clear to mention the fact that Los Blancos are dealing with an accuracy problem in terms of scoring goals and there is always room for improvement. “There are no doubts in the team. It’s an accuracy problem. There are things we have to improve, even though it’s the start of the season,” Dani revealed.

When asked about tonight’s much anticipated Champions League clash they will participate in when they travel to Signal Iduna Park for their 2nd group stage game against Borrussia Dortmund, the defender said that Madrid will play on a hostile ground where he expects a tough challenge down the hill from the Bundesliga giants.

“We’ve never been able to win here; it’s a really difficult ground. Dortmund are very competitive,” Dani was quoted as saying.”It’s a big game, one that everyone in the world would like to play in,” he concluded.
